Saw: The Ride is the big new attraction for 2009. Based on the horror films Saw takes you on an all new dark experience followed with a beyond vertical drop and a few inversions, be sure to check out the ride page for more information.
One closure for 2009 is Miss Hippos Fungle Safari, the ride which has been at the park for longer than most closes its doors. The ride has become less and less popular due to the up keep of the theme and having no real atmosphere. Decision to shut rather than re-vamp could mean a future investment.
A lot of improvements were made over the close season with noticeably Tidal Wave receiving some new paint, as too X:/ No Way Out.
Also for the first time since opening year Nemesis Inferno was re-stored with some of the original mist effects that helped it stand out as a well themed coaster.
