Rameses Revenge
The big thrill rides came to Chessington in the 90’s, with this one opening back in 1995. A year after Forbidden Kingdom and Terror Tomb opened, this brand ne Huss Top Spin, a UK park first opened at Chessington.
A well known ride now this Top Spin took riders high into the air, beofre flipping and spinning them around. It was the first in the world to feature water jets and for many was as good to watch as it was to ride.
Although it had some issues over the years inaddition to Chessington changing the target market, this ride carried on right through to 2019 before its closure, eventually being replaced by Crco Drop in 2021. At the time it was the last Top Spin in the UK and does still remain the last Huss one, we have since had a travelling model come back to the circuit for those who live up North.
