Safari Skyway
Opening Pre-theme park in 1986, the Safari Skyway was a slow moving monorail ride elevated off the floor to give you great views of Chessington Zoo, travelling from the Market Square right around the whole of the Chessington Zoo area. Not as much as a Safari as it used to be the ride started to have issues in 2014 with much downtime, it also became apparent that the amount of people the park was attracting was also causing lengthy queues.
In 2015 the ride packed up mid season and it was announced in early 2016 that the ride will not be opening again, whilst some signs remain of the ride still most of it has now been removed.
