Mystic East

Mystic East as a name and an area remained in 2017 the last of the original ones since opening in 1987. Lasting 30 years the area was home to the impressive Dragon Falls log flume, formally Dragon River. The ride once the benchmark for theme in the park lost most of that over the last 5 years of operation, with a competition which ran to re-theme the ride which never came to foot. 2017 saw the area and Log Flume close early for a huge Tiger re-theme for 2018.

This area has always been home to a flat ride to, the Magic Carpet which would fit better now than ever before operated between 1987 and 1998. Samurai the impressive thrill machine operated for just a few years 1999 to 2003 with Peeking Heights the Ferris Wheel joining the lineup in 2005. No new ride will replace Peeking Heights with the Tiger enclosures being in the space, the new name for the area is Land of the Tigers, and the new name for the Dragon Falls is Tiger Rock. This is a collection of pictures from the last day of Mystic East on the 10th September 2017, you can see old rides and attractions over on our History pages.
