The history of Chessington 2011
With massive investment in the park last year, very little in terms of rides have gone into the park in 2011.
However there is some new additions, first is a slight change in the Sea Life centre with the new Azteca section, allowing you to discover the undersea empire of the star attractions.
Also in the hotel a new restaurant, the Zafari Bar and Grill, just outside the park in the hotel itself.
The map has stayed the same for 2011, which is welcome as its possibly the best design out of all the parks.
Noticeable changes in the park, include the height restriction for Dragon Falls, going from 0.9m minimum to a 1.2 m minimum, the reasons for this are unknown the park stating a review of the ride. From this it also received a new entrance. Also worth noting this was the same for Loggers Leap at Thorpe Park and The Flume at Alton Towers. Probably not what the park wanted, being a massive family attraction, however obviously required.
Also the transformation of the Smarties castle is now complete, with an extra place to buy Fastrack tickets.
Many park signs have been updated in 2011.
