The history of Chessington 1992
1992 was another year of little investment and at the current time there was no real need for it!
Chessington was without a doubt one of the most popular places in the south and even in the UK. Excelling in areas that places like Alton Towers and Thorpe Park weren’t quite up to scratch on.
Alton Towers however did get the most investment for this year, with the Runaway Train and the Haunted House opening to a lot of advertising.
Mainly being the individual themed areas, although other parks had different areas, Chessington’s were always ones that stood out the most.
Chessington didn’t advertise anything new for this year; the park was riding high though with the main focus being back around the Circus area.
