Winters Tail 2017

Winters Tail 2017 saw the event graced with the Gruffalo once again, in addition to the story time held at the doomed Pandamonium stage as oppose to the Gruffalo stage the event saw Gruffalo River Ride Adventure join the ride round up for the event. With Tiny Truckers, Hocus Pocus Hall, AMAZU and the new Adventure Tree Carousel it was probably the best ride line up the park have had for the Winter event.

Santa’s village was back in operation after Halloween use with even Annual Pass holders having £15 to enter, this included a gift for the children in Santa’s grotto and a hot drink for the adults. Sadly many Santa’s were visible from the walk and the gifts weren’t wrapped which took some of the magic away with decorations also less than previous years.

A strange event not held to potential this season, with other parks including Merlin ones in Legoland and Alton Towers opening much bigger attractions, Paulton’s Park with a massive lineup this event probably needs to step up for 2018.
