Winters Tail 2016

The Winter’s Tail was back for 2016 as the Chessington winter event takes hold of the park over Christmas. Always popular event the park was strict pre-book only this year which also included annual pass holders who needed to pay in order to visit. Much like previous years the park was decorated for Christmas with the key focus point being the Santa’s village on the grass by the Sea Lions for the Santa Grotto itself.

Once finished with Santa the parks Zoo areas were also open along with Hocus Pocus Hall. The big benefit this year was the arrival of the Lion Cubs and for the first time the Panda show was used with a special Christmas show presentation. Although not a good as previous years especially 2014 with the Gruffalo show their was plenty to keep you entertained for a Winter visit.
