Welcome to Lightwater Valley, home of the Europe’s longest and worlds second longest roller coaster! Lightwater Valley is set in the fantastic countryside of Yorkshire and has one of the most natural surroundings of any theme park in the UK. The park itself is hugely underestimated as a park with a host of great rides and attractions for all of the family, including the Angry Birds activity park and farm yard ride.
A huge host of thrill rides are on park, with Eagles Claw, Black Pearl and the parks more recent addition Apollo all stand out for the thrill seekers, with the brave taking on the Europe’s longest roller coaster The Ultimate. The park in recent years have really started to add the “theme” to the park, with Skeleton Cove, Angry Birds and Raptor Attack all receiving an excellent theme. Its not a park to missed and provides an excellent day out, with a mini shopping village and Falconry Centre as add on to the day.
