With thanks to Ryan who is at the park today, the Black Hole tent is quickly coming down following the approval of SW7 Plans. From pictures a few days ago much of the tent was still attached to the frame, with the front end of the frame still attached, this is now not the case with frame down and tent on the larger side also down, some pictures below.

Residents are more concerned about sleepless nights after Thorpe Park apply to keep the Dome open until 3am 7 days a week. Currently the park can operate on 2 days a week until 1am in the Dome, this has been used for concerts and the night promotions, mainly during the summer months. Not for the first time since it’s closure, a small fire has broken out at the old American Adventure theme park in Shipley, Derbyshire. The wooden pier fire was reported at around 1.45pm with beams and cladding being alight for just under two hours .
