| A modern day area for Thorpe Park, the Lost City opened in 2001, with debut rides Zodiac, and the mighty Vortex, and the exsisting X:/ No Way Out. The area really expanded in 2002, with the introduction of Colossus, the worlds first 10 looping roller coaster. 2003 saw Eclipse and Quantum make an entrance, close to the dome, with 2004 bringing Samurai from Chessington. 2005 and Eclipse had gone to Chessington, and the two latest thrill machines Slammer and Rush complete the area as it stands. |
