The Vampire Strikes Back!
Probably the most well known ride at Chessington, the Vampire is still a UK first roller coaster, and still an excellent roller coaster at that.
With unique features, like two lift hills, and floorless trains, Vampire takes you around 2 + minutes of track swinging you from side to side, above and below the trees.
The ride has now been made safe for little adventurers, with a 1.1 metre height limit, for the height, could be one of the more intense coasters around!
Yes the ride has lost a little magic, with track looking wore, the queuline awful, and the tunnel no more than a dip in the ground, the Vampire is still an excellent ride. Even with the station toned down a little, its still considered one of the best themed stations in the UK.
Still has a lot to offer the Vampire, and is higher regarded as Chessingtons best ride. |
